Hello Sunshine
I'm Caley
Two days after my second breast cancer surgery and I'm cheesin'.
Not because I'm pretending everything is okay. But because I'm grateful the cancer and infection is out of my body. Grateful I still get to finish radiation and my flat surgery in the coming year. And grateful that. every single day, I get to choose what I focus on.
Because if life has taught me anything, it's this:
Perspective Reveals Miracles

life can be incredibly hard and incredibly beautiful at the exact same time.
And somewhere along the way, I learned that perspective can change almost everything.

I’m a wife. A mom of four. An entrepreneur. A speaker. A writer. A podcast host. A cancer survivor. A chemo mom. A daughter who recently lost her mom. And a woman who has changed directions more times than I could possibly count.
For a long time, I thought life was about building the right plan and working hard enough to make it happen.
Turns out, life has plans of its own.
Mine has included incredible success and spectacular failure. I’ve built businesses, raised babies, lost everything, started over, faced illness and grief, reinvented myself more than once - and somehow found more joy than I could have imagined in the middle of all of it.
And I wouldn’t erase the hard parts.
Because they changed the way I see everything.

I learned to live in the middle of it
When my son was diagnosed with cancer, life as I knew it stopped.
The next year and a half brought 58 chemo infusions, MRIs, surgeries, hospital stays and a completely different version of motherhood.
But somewhere inside the fear, I started noticing something else.
There was still so much life happening.
Tiny moments. Ridiculous laughter. People showing up. Ordinary days that suddenly felt extraordinary.
I stopped waiting for life to become easy before allowing it to be beautiful.

Joy exists in the little moments
I want to help people see their lives differently
I spent years believing my gift was positivity.
But after living through some of the hardest chapters of my life, I realized it was never really about being positive.
It was about perspective.
I can't teach you how to make life go according to an exact plan. Mine certainly hasn't.
But I can share what I've learned about finding gratitude without denying what hurts, choosing intentionally when so much feels outside our control, and recognizing the beauty that can exist right alongside the hard.
I'm not here to teach you how to have a perfect life.
I'm here to help you experience the one you already have.
